Richard Brett has 20 years experience of marketing communications, brand strategy and communications agency leadership. He is passionate about using public relations and social media to lead integrated campaigns, outcome-based measurement and using new technology to drive innovative creativity for brands. Before joining Pulse in October 2013, Richard was managing director of Shine Communications in London. During his tenure at Shine, the agency won 104 awards, making the agency the most awarded single office agency in Europe in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The agency was shortlisted for Agency of the Year by both PRCA and PR Week in 2012. Previously, Richard joined Samsonite in 2006 as global director of communications, and then was appointed VP, global marketing communications in 2007. Before joining Samsonite Richard spent a decade at leading global communications agency Ketchum, leaving as London office strategy board director in 2006. Richard has authored a number of papers on marketing communications, including Brand Economics (2013) and SmartPlanning (2012). He has a MBA from Imperial College, London.

Jacqui brings more than 12 years of corporate and consumer communications experience in both Australia and the UK to the team at Pulse Communications.

Before joining Pulse in January 2015, Jacqui held the role of Senior Public Affairs Manager at Virgin Australia where she managed various consumer and corporate public relations activities, internal communications and headed up the airline’s social media division. Jacqui specialises in delivering strategic, high impact communications programs and driving innovation to ensure best practice in both new and traditional media.

Prior to joining Virgin Australia, Jacqui was Corporate Affairs manager at Optus, Australia’s second largest telecommunications provider and previously held senior client management positions at Hausmann Communications in Australia as well as Shine Communications and Ketchum in the UK. She has worked on a plethora of high-profile, global brands and businesses throughout her career including Sony PlayStation, Nokia, Sony Pictures, Virgin Money, Virgin Active, SAB Miller, Bacardi Group, Proctor & Gamble, ghd, Royal Mail, eBay, Elizabeth Arden and lastminute.com.

Rachel has seven years marketing communications experience in social media and PR strategy and activation across key global brands in the UK and Australia. Most recently Rachel was a senior account director at tech agency Howorth, and before that she was at Shine Communications in London, heading up the press office in the UK for eBay, Vodafone, Karcher and Quiksilver. Rachel specialises in creating and delivering impactful, integrated creative campaigns based on considered insight, and has led a number of award-winning campaigns for consumer lifestyle and technology brands. Her media contacts span across the globe and her passion to deliver award-winning campaigns based on commercial success ensures client and campaign fame. Rachel heads up the consumer team for Microsoft and leads the charge on the one Microsoft message for consumers. Her expertise also means she now heads up the newly-won eBay account for Pulse.

Allison is an experienced senior team leader with a career that has spanned the globe from Toronto to London and now Sydney. She brings a truly international viewpoint to her work and a skillset that includes traditional PR and social media. Allison draws on her extensive agency background to give insightful counsel to clients, mentorship to her teams and trusted support to senior agency leaders.

During her career she has worked in a variety sectors including retail, fashion, food, drink, energy, charity, travel and tourism. She has a penchant for socially conscious creative campaigns and has worked on award winning CSR briefs for brands including Selfridges, The Body Shop and Cadbury.

Allison holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a Post Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Centennial College. In her role at Pulse she will lead the Public Relations for Westfield as a part of the integrated agency Sibling.

Kaz joined Pulse as our first strategy and planning director in 2011. Her role focuses on campaign development for new and existing clients, supporting the increasing demand for multi-disciplinary programs which centre on audience engagement and insight, rather than channel delivery. A true generalist, Kaz has more than 12 years’ experience in communication planning, strategy development, issues management, campaigning and behaviour change. She has worked for some of the world’s most famous international and local brands having held senior positions in leading communication agencies in London, Beijing, Dubai and New Zealand. Before joining Pulse Kaz spent five years with London’s Fishburn Hedges. Kaz has a particular interest in behaviour change and social marketing, having worked with campaigns in the UK spanning drink, drugs, obesity, literacy, smoking and climate change. She has a bachelor of communications (PR/Multimedia) from Auckland University of Technology.

Jordan Bradley is the Head of Publicity for Pulse Communications. Jordan brings more than 10 years’ media experience in Australia to the Pulse Communications team and recently joined the company from Twentieth Century Fox, where he has held the role of National Publicity Manager for the last five years.

Jordan has worked both in house and agency side having previously held roles at Fox, Paramount and Mark Communications where he led the publicity for a number of Australian lifestyle brands and personalities. Jordan is very well connected with Australian media across entertainment, news, lifestyle, tech and will brings great long standing relationships from across the Australian national media landscape to the Pulse Communications. Jordan is an entertainment junkie and hugely creative.
